Task Force Information

CMF’s work is primarily carried out through its task forces. Task force topics are identified by CMF members and approved by the Board of Directors to address specific water quality challenges, regulatory issues, and collaborative initiatives. Each task force is established with a defined purpose, scope, and timeframe. Task forces are reviewed annually by the Board of Directors to ensure they continue to align with CMF’s mission and member priorities. Task Force members establish their goals, scope of work, and deliverables, and may propose additional projects or new task forces as needs arise. Progress updates are shared during CMF membership meetings, and draft work products are circulated to members for review and feedback before finalization. Participation is open to both CMF members and interested parties, and members are encouraged to participate in as many task forces as they wish.

CMF currently supports three task forces: Agriculture, Nutrients, and Temperature. These groups provide a focused forum for addressing the unique challenges and opportunities associated with each topic area.
